Gaming has been a part of my life since I was just a wee lad. I grew up playing various PC games, though most of them were of the educational variety since that was all our computer could handle. When I was lucky enough to go my friend's house, I had my first experience with consoles playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on an NES. One of my fondest childhood memories is actually of my babysitter who would bring a giant bag full of Gameboy games whenever she came to watch me. This started my love for Nintendo, which would continue through the Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, DS, Wii, 3DS, and now Wii U. Over the past few years I've also become a PC gamer thanks to digital platforms such as Steam and GoG. Games are many things, pieces of history, works of art, and an entertainment medium, but most importantly, video games are just plain fun!
