While I continue to work on my first main article for the site, I thought I'd provide a list of some of the comics I've picked up over the last month.
- Batman: Gordon of Gotham - A neat little collection of 3 miniseries starring none other than Commissioner Gordon himself. It shows off the law enforcement of Gotham city and expands on Gordon's character. It's a fun crime themed adventure if you're interested in the character, plus the book itself is pretty lengthy.
- Batman 66' (Volume 1) - I had no idea a comic of this existed, and yes, it is every bit as amazing as it sounds. All of the cheesy humor from the 1966 TV show is carried over and creates an incredibly fun and zany comic. The art is also outstanding, bringing a really colorful, retro style unlike anything I've seen before.
- Doom Patrol 1-18, 64-87 (Volume 2) - This wonderful series is sadly overlooked, with crazy heroes and villains. Animal Vegetable Mineral Man is just one of the insane villains throughout the series.
- Deathstroke the Terminator 0-60 - Thank you eBay! Deathstroke has always been one of my favorite characters in the DC Universe, and his recent inclusion on the TV show Arrow has only helped that.
- Doom Patrol 1-18 (Volume 4) - Although the second run of Doom Patrol is widely considered the best, I like the characters and concepts so much I had to pick this up.
